that is what happens in a political environment. the fact is, it is indisputable this was clear evidence, long before susan rice was on the talk shows and before jake carney denied this was terrorism and said this was about the film. there are a lot of questions that must be answered. americans ought to demand we know why didn't you tell us the truth? i have been pretty blunt about this from day one. our government lied to us. i don't know who is responsible. i do know we have been lied to. there has been a coverup. that is unquestionable at this stage. >>dave: you compared it to watergate saying it was, perhaps, worse. this statement from the director of national intelligence. in the immediate aftermath there was information that led to us assess that the attack began spontaneously following protests earlier that day at our embassy in cairo. we provided that initial assessment to executive branch officials and members of congress who used that information to discuss the attack publicly and provide updates as they become available.
